About Pavan Patel

With over 10 years of cross-industry experience in the RNG, wastewater, manufacturing, mining, energy and environment sectors, I am currently part of a talented team at Greenlane Renewables, an organization focused on innovation, growth and accelerating the energy transition, where I assist in providing biogas upgrading solutions tailored to client and industry specific requirements. As the “hub” of the applications engineering team at Ostara, I interfaced with clients and the internal business units (sales, engineering, operations, projects). I conducted technical case studies and data analyses to improve reactor performance and reduce chemical usage, oversaw process model improvements, developed preliminary system design bases including equipment sizing and selection, and co-authored a technical publication on “Adapting to the Unexpected”. At Weir Canada, in addition to performing the role of facility technical lead, I reviewed drawings, and technical and commercial specifications to prepare proposals for capital projects ranging from to $15 million. I was also involved in Lean projects to streamline production processes and reduce operating labor costs.
