About Pavani Devabathini

I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Physics at Purdue University, with a focus on synchrotron x-ray technologies, methodologies of immunohistochemical and auto metallographic staining procedures on brain sections, and data analysis to identify metal distribution pattern and to combine metal distribution imaging and histopathological imaging. At Argonne and Brookhaven National Laboratories, I acquired significant proficiency in the operation of beamlines, with a particular focus on X-ray fluorescence imaging and X-ray absorption near edge structure spectroscopy beamlines. I have acquired skill in the analysis of X-ray fluorescence, X-ray absorption near edge structure, and X-ray diTraction data via the use of established software applications like PyXRF, MAPS, ImageJ, Athena, Adobe Illustrator, Fit2D, Cellsens, and Muscle-X. Furthermore, I possess experience in using Python as a programming language to perform the analysis. In addition to research, I am proud of my extensive experience as a teacher and my profound enthusiasm for mentoring and teaching.Beyond that, I have the required credentials to provide first aid to adults who are experiencing mental health issues.
