About Pavel Derlean

I spent around 10 years in automotive, working as SW Developer, SW Embedded Engineer, Technical Coordinator with some management tasks and now as Embedded SW Consultant with mainly testing tasks. My first job was an internship for 3 months at Continental where I had the first contact with this field. I continued there for 2 years and 4 months working as SW Developer mainly on BCM products. My second challenge was at FEV Romania for almost 2 years, working in a great environment where I can say I improved a lot my technical and communication skills being involved in a lot of activities like workshops, organizing summer practice for students, several other events. In the first period I worked on ADAS related project as SW Engineer and in the last part I switched to the Integration project, working with ASCET models. My first international challenge was for TREMEC Belgium in Controls team (Transmission project), part of BSW Test team executing and developing automated tests. Good knowledge of: C embedded, CAPL, AUTOSAR, Microcontrollers, Electronics, ADAS, Transmission, MATLAB, Model Based development, Automated tests, HIL test, System Engineering, Flashing, Debugging Good command of: CANoe, CANape, Eclipse based IDEs, Visual Studio, winIDEA and Lauterbach debugging tools, ASCET and MATLAB model based tools, Vehicle Spy tools from INTREPIDCS, UDE tool. Currently I am working as an SW Overall Integrator in Eeins Timisoara.
