About Pavlo Grytsenko
I have a broad expertise in cell biology, biochemistry, oncology (neurological and epithelial cancers) and the development of disease-relevant 3D cell-based assays. My recent PhD (Molecular Life Sciences) and postdoc positions in the group of Prof. Peter Friedl (Cell Biology Department, RIMLS, Radboudumc, Nijmegen) were highly successful, resulting in first-author publications in leading journals, including Nature Cell Biology (please see the list of my publications below). I studied the mechanisms of cancer progression and developed the set of organotypic 3D assays that are applicable for patient-derived cells and high-content/high-throughput screening of low-molecular compounds and antibodies. I used to work on multiple projects in parallel and my persistence and innovative thinking always helped me to solve problems under time pressure. I efficiently worked independently or in a team, including multidisciplinary teams, performing various research tasks, supervision of students and technical personnel.
