About Pavol Ballon

I am a technically grounded project manager with a multidisciplinary background. I combine experience in R&D, energy systems, IT architecture, sustainability, and hands-on electrotechnical practice — with a clear focus on real impact and long-term viability. Over the last 15+ years, I’ve worked on innovation-driven projects across energy management, BESS, flexibility, electromobility, green building technologies, and smart infrastructure. I have led and delivered both corporate and EU-funded international innovation projects. In 2025, I complemented my academic background in ecology and my IT/energy project leadership experience by completing a formal technical qualification as an electromechanic for refrigeration and heat pump systems— achieving full professional certification. I believe strong solutions come from connecting strategic thinking with technical literacy and practical experience. I’m deeply interested in how we can create sustainable systems that actually work: technically, economically, and socially. Beyond corporate work, I also develop independent projects focused on off-grid living, circular design, and community-scale resilience. What I bring- Systems thinking across disciplines - Strong execution from concept to real-world operation - Innovation and technical clarity - A commitment to sustainability beyond buzzwords
