About Pawan Dewani

A Program Manager with an experience of ~10 Years in the Embedded Industry. I have worked with Qualcomm based embedded systems and handled the complete life cycle (Concept-Design Phase-Manufacturing-Software Development-Product Readiness-Mass Production) of the system for several projects. I have handled multiple assignments under pressure while meeting tight deadline schedules. Following are the responsibilities I have handled: • Organize Project Kick-offs Gate reviews weekly reviews and risk review meetings. Document the actions and work towards closure. • Prepare the project plan and update it regularly to always reflect the latest status. • Negotiate with respective group managers to come up with Project Milestone and get it approved by the Product Owner (Marketing / Sales) • Elicit compile and communicate the risk in the project and proactively work towards minimizing/eliminating the risk. • Prepare a progress report. • Interact with cross-functional teams to maintain project alignment and achieve set goals. • Ensure that the geographically dispersed hardware software and manufacturing teams meet customer schedules and expectations while providing feedback to upper management on project status. My technical expertise and experience as a Software Engineer helps me to easily interact with the engineers and meet the program/project deadlines with ease. I work closely with hardware manufacturing and development teams to give on-time deliverables. It is interesting to see how the product takes shape from concept to manufacturing.
