About Pawan Lahoty

I am currently a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where I have worked across diverse sectors, including Growth Tech, Consumer Goods/Health and Public Sector. My experience spans across critical topics such as corporate strategy and growth go-to-market strategies, sector landscaping, business case development, financial modelling, and public policy. Driven by a deep interest in the startup ecosystem, I have been actively involved in building BCG’s Growth Tech (GT) practice. My work in GT included consulting scaled startups and contributing to business development initiatives. Additionally, I co-authored the report “Lean Scaling: A SaaS Founder’s Handbook” in collaboration with Accel and BCG. Building on my experience in GT, I undertook a six-month secondment with the Early-Stage team at B Capital. During this tenure, I contributed to deal sourcing, due diligence, thesis development, and networking. My focus areas included B2B commerce and Health-tech, where I gained valuable insights into the investment landscape. Academically, I am a Chartered Accountant (AIR 27 - Final), CFA (US), and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). At IIMB, I was part of the Directors’ Merit List (Top 5% of the batch), served as a member of the Cultural Committee, and interned with JP Morgan’s Investment Banking Division in their M&A unit.
