With over 23 years of experience across the renewable sector, oil and gas, and petrochemical industries, I bring a deep understanding of Health, Safety, Environment, and Fire (HSEF) management. I hold a B Tech in Chemical Engineering, a Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS), and a NEBOSH IGC certification. Over the past 16+ years, I have built strong expertise in risk assessment, safety compliance, and the implementation of industry-leading safety measures to mitigate hazards and protect personnel and assets. My background provides a proven track record in ensuring safe operational environments in high-risk sectors.Notable achievements include:• Contributing to the enhancement of safety culture in the renewable sector by standardizing safety requirements, ensuring their effective implementation, and driving management reviews to ensure continuous improvement. Leading the HSE team at the first Hydro Power Plant globally to achieve the prestigious BSC Five Star Certification. Achieving the Sword of Honour Award for Hydro Power Plant. Presenting a paper on "Process Safety Near-miss Identification, Investigation & Challenges" at the CCPS Conference in Texas, US, in April 2013. Serving as a committee member of OISD/PNGRB, contributing to the drafting of LNG safety standards. Acting as a Pre-Commissioning/External Safety Auditor for OISD/PNGRB. Being part of the HSEF team at Reliance for successfully commissioning the SEZ RIL Refinery. Completing Shell Certified TSE101 & HEMP 101 Courses, further enhancing technical safety expertise.
