About Payal Pandit

Born and brought up in Harda, Madhya Pradesh, I grew up in a joint family where I experienced a lot of love, comfort, togetherness values of my family, happiness, health, and love above all. Learning from my mistakes enabled me to become emotionally strong and capable of taking decisions on my journey. I truly believe that with the right education one can bring about a social change. My desire to bring about a social change instilled in me a strong desire to work in the education health care sector. I have done a Bachelor's in Business Administration and the founder of my college, Mr. Pranjal Dubey, has been a key influence in my life. He himself is a social entrepreneur and founded a college in a rural area to provide free education to students. His work and his dedication inspired me to develop my career in the development sector. This led me to join the ETNB fellowship, which gave me the opportunity to understand education and manage projects at the grassroots and, sharpen my personal as well as professional skills. Now I have completed my Master's in Development Studies at Azim Premji University. And further develop my understanding in mental health and public health sector I joined Sangath Organization As a Research Assistant. During my free time, one can often find me dancing, designing jewelry, traveling to new places, or reading failure stories to get inspiration to work on my dreams :)
