About Payal Sinha

I am an educational consultant with a focus on early childhood education. My extensive experience in international schools in India, United Kingdom and the American School of Bombay makes me uniquely qualified to understand, and work with different systems of education. I am a qualified teacher with a Masters in Educational Leadership from University of Northern Iowa (UNI) and a Post Graduate Certification in Education from London South Bank University (LSBU), specialising in Primary Curriculum with a super specialisation in Early Childhood. My focus on teacher training and curriculum development guides educational institutions to develop or strengthen their current curriculum while focussing on whole-child development. I guide educational institutions in step by step lesson planning, Individualising and differentiating instruction, assessment, classroom management, portfolios, Inquiry, parent communication and creating a supportive classroom environment. My training and experience includes PYP, Reggio Emilia, Responsive Classroom, Teaching Strategies Gold, Adaptive schools, Play Therapy, de Bono Six Thinking Hats, supporting English Language Learners through WIDA and setting up multi age classroom. I offer individualised teacher training, holistic curriculum development and parent group discussions to schools, teachers and parents, in the form of workshops. The scope of consultancy extends from individual workshops to long-term projects. Workshops can be held for between one hour to one day, catering to a specific need or challenged faced. Long-term projects will be 1-2 month partnerships, to develop a school's curriculum alongside school administration, holding multiple teacher training workshops for a multi-dimensional professional development, and discussions with parents about the best practices being implemented at the school. These are interactive, engaging and fun workshops available in English and Hindi.
