As an eco-conscious engineering student, I am committed to advancing the packaging industry with innovative and sustainable solutions. Specializing in packaging engineering, I have a specific interest in developing biodegradable alternatives and revolutionizing inclusive design, while also examining the end-of-life cycle of commercial products. My strong background in social sciences and agricultural research complements my dedication to creating impactful, sustainable engineering solutions and interacting with consumers. I am excited to pursue an internship in the summer of 2025 to further hone my skills and contribute to this dynamic field. As a dedicated student at the University of Florida, maintaining a GPA of 3.93, my relevant coursework includes Engineering Mechanics, Organic Materials: Polymer Science, Packaging Production and Processing, and Materials Impact on Society. My recent experience includes working as an Associate Scientist at Procter & Gamble in their FemCare R&D department, where I designed and prototyped innovative packaging concepts and developed testing methods to ensure design integrity and sustainability. Previously, I researched microplastics in seafood and led a study on the impact of high school agriculture programs. I have gained valuable skills through roles in customer service and agricultural operations, as well as involvement in outreach and leadership activities within engineering organizations. My growing passion for packaging engineering has significantly contributed to my recent achievement of becoming the President of the Packaging Club at the University of Florida. This role has energized me to drive the program forward by expanding its reach and impact. I am committed to fostering a dynamic environment where students can engage with industry trends, collaborate on innovative projects, and develop practical skills. My vision is to elevate the club's initiatives, creating opportunities that enhance both academic and professional growth for our members. This year, we plan to attend an event in Chicago titled PackExpo where we will colloborate with industry leaders to further deepen our understanding of the packaging field.
