About Paz Concha
I am an ethnographer interested in entrepreneurship, cultural economies, urban space, placemaking and digital technologies. In my PhD research, I analysed the relationship between cultural economies and placemaking in the case of street food markets in London. I hold a BSc in Anthropology (Universidad de Chile), and a MSc in Culture and Society (LSE). I have five years of experience in projects on Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D) working for the Chilean government and as an independent researcher and Doctora en Sociología (LSE) y Antropóloga Social (U. De Chile), con un Máster en Cultura y Sociedad (LSE). Me interesa el estudio del emprendimiento, las economías culturales, el espacio urbano y las tecnologías digitales. En mi investigación de Doctorado analicé la relación entre las economías creativas o culturales y la creación de lugar. Además tengo 5 años de experiencia trabajando en proyectos de TIC para el Desarrollo en el Gobierno de Chile y en investigación, estudios y consultoría de manera independiente.
