About Paz Levy

A public and corporate policy professional with experience in the federal and provincial governments, as well as the public and private sector. I have advised senior government officials and corporate executives on a variety of topics including security, corporate policies, digital government, consumer policies, health, and long-term care programming and policies. Through my academic background, I have an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon of modern terrorism and its characteristics, scope, and dissemination throughout the world. Additionally, I specialized in cyber-terrorism and have an understanding of the technical aspects of cyber-terrorism, the motivation and capabilities of various terrorist organizations, and mitigation plans against these cyber-terrorist threats. My academic background also includes a specialization in International Relations and Western-History. I have excellent skills in research and analysis, with exetensive experience interpreting materials, including policy papers, legislations, reports, and written documents. I also have excellent writing and analytical skills with a over a decade of experience writing various documents in forms of papers, policy briefings, legislative reports, and presentations. My M.A Final Project focused counter terrorism-financing campaign of the United States in the post 9/11 era. The paper reviewed laws, procedures, various governmental offices, the role the United States plays in the international counter-financing campaign, and analyzed a case study that assessed the campaign in practice.
