About Peace Mwambukya

I am an open minded person, proactive, highly flexible and sociable. I seize opportunities as quickly as they show up. I derive pleasure from succeeding at challenges. I work very well in a team, as I get along easily with others. I also look for opportunities where I can be of assistance to others. My current objective is to grow more in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in order to become more competitive for the available bigger opportunities in this field. I have been involved in the successful completion of several projects during my tenure at CEVA and Spedag Interfreight. Examples of these projects are; Distribution of 7 Million Long Lasting Insecticide Mosquito Bed nets to all the districts of Uganda. As a projects Coordinator at the time, it was my responsibility to coordinate all activities involved which included; coordination of overseas importation of the nets, warehousing and distribution to the Households. In the year 2012, I was relocated to South Sudan to oversee all operations for the distribution of 9.2 Million text books, funded by DFID under Ministry of Education, for all primary schools in the 10 States of South Sudan. In the year 2013-2014, as the Projects Manager, I led a team that successfully distributed Essential Medical Kits to all County health Headquarters in the 10 States of South Sudan and in the year 2017, the distribution of Mosquito Nets funded by Global Fund through Population Services International, to 6 States of South Sudan. With this fulltime involvement, I have grown in several areas especially in leadership, coordination and managerial skills. I am currently the Team Leader at CEVA Logistics in South Sudan, working with a team of 12 people. I’m entrusted with the responsibility to ensure that CEVA Logistics in South Sudan meets the operational obligations to its clients as we deliver a lean commercial model.
