PEDE I. CASING, MAEd finished his Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) major in Mathematics (2008, Magna Cum Laude) at the Mindanao State University – Buug Campus. He earned his Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics (2014) at Saint Columban College Graduate School – Pagadian City and graduated his Doctor of Philosophy major in Mathematics Education at University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines, Cagayan de Oro City. He was awarded as contributor to the Outstanding Performance in the National Achievement Test (NAT) in Mathematics during the HARVEST OF EXCELLENCE of Zamboanga Sibugay Division, School Year 2012 - 2013 when he was teaching at Catituan National High School (his first assignment) in Catituan, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay. He spent 5 years in teaching Mathematics and other subjects in this institution. In the year 2014, he transferred to teach at Malangas National High School – Main Campus where he was a Coach in the Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Mathematics Challenge Competition and Mathematical Olympiad held in Ateneo de Zamboanga University. In his years of teaching, he has served as Classroom adviser, Mathematics coordinator, Guidance Counselor – designate, Dropped-Out Reduction Program (DORP) coordinator, and Supreme Student Government (SSG) adviser. He was a Regional Demonstration Teacher in Mathematics twice during the Regional Mass Training of Second Year Teachers on the 2010 Secondary Education Curriculum Understanding by Design (UBD) held at Pagadian City (2011) and during the Regional Training for Grade 10 Mathematics Teachers on the Implementation of the K – 12 Basic Education. He is the 2023 Outstanding Teacher in Zamboanga Sibugay Division.
