About Pedro Cortez

With over 15 years of experience in Software Engineering, I evolved from a passionate Java and Android developer to an innovative tech leader. Currently, as a Tech Manager, I combine my solid technical foundation with advanced management and leadership skills to drive teams towards excellence and innovation. My journey includes 8 years as a developer, followed by nearly 8 years as an Agile Coach, where I gained deep experience in agile methodologies, culminating in a leadership position in agility management. This path has provided me with a holistic understanding of the software development life cycle, from coding to strategy and execution at the management level. In my current role, I am committed to applying best practices in software architecture and leadership, constantly seeking ways to optimize processes and boost productivity. My approach focuses on fostering a collaborative environment, where innovative ideas and creative solutions are encouraged. Furthermore, I am an enthusiast and organizer of Agile Beer, Brazil's largest agile meetup since 2016, promoting the sharing of knowledge and experiences in the global tech community. I am always in search of new challenges that transform me and allow me to significantly contribute to technological advancement and the success of organizations.
