About Pedro Couto

I am passionate about helping develop people and organizations. Currently working as a Technical Architect, focused on Storage at VortexTI. I am fluent in English and Portuguese and have communication skills to negotiate with all project stakeholders, regardless of their hierarchical level. With 9 years of service support experience, I hold over 30 technical certifications in storage, data protection, SAN, and Cloud solutions. I am particularly passionate about NetApp, having participated in the development of NetApp’s certification exams for Administration, Data Protection, SAN and Cloud Implementation Engineers Exams, collaborating with engineers from various parts of the world. As a result of this work, I was granted the title of Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Administration, Data Protection Implementation, and SAN (NCDA, NCIE-DP, NCIE-SAN). I enjoy teamwork, learning, and sharing knowledge. One of the things I love to do daily is to promote best practices in storage and data protection. Hardening security and architecting cyber resilient storage solutions. My main purpose is to protect customers' data and fight against ransomware. I always seek new challenges and ways to enhance my knowledge and skills.
