About Pedro Jorge

I am a calm, methodic, hard-working and highly focused professional. A natural curiosity drives me to continuously pursue for new knowledge and personal improvement. Academically, I have a Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine, following a Bachelor in Biomedical Science, by the University of Aveiro, which provided me the scientific knowledge to develop my activities in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Within the Pharmaceutical Industry, I acquire almost 4-year experience in the Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety field, firstly at Bluepharma and currently at Blueclinical. This experience allowed me to obtain a strong professional background and be involved in almost every aspects of Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety of a medicine’s life-cycle. During this period I have the opportunity to plan, prepare, submit and manage several pre- and post-marketing Pharmacovigilance-related activities. My professional curriculum also includes the participation in several activities within the Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs & Writing and Scientific Services fields. Due to the diversity of activities in which I was involved I was able to develop time management skills, refined search strategies and the ability to work under stressful environments.
