About Pedro Jurado

With extensive working experience in different Earth Observation System Engineering, Flight Dynamics and Optical Performance areas at European Space Agency as a system level position and key experience in the development phases for Earth Explorer program. I am directly involved in the feasibility studies and project implementation of satellite missions, being actively exposed to design and development activities of several mission and payload concepts. Contributing to ensure the technical coherency of the system design, including, as needed, functional analysis and design, overall system concept, system level budgets, system performance analyses, definition of spacecraft and/or payload subsystems and related data processing both in-flight and on-ground and validation and verification activities. Appointed External European Union Institutions expert for space related technologies under FP7 and H2020 to assist in the evaluation of grant applications, projects and tenders and to provide opinions and advice in specific cases. Eurostar, Eureka and Guidepoint Advisor for space earth observation and telecommunication.
