I was born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in Florida. For the past 23 years, I proudly served in the U.S. Navy, where I honed my skills and expertise in Information Technology, Operations Management, and Cybersecurity. From managing critical networks to implementing robust cybersecurity measures, I've tackled diverse roles and responsibilities with dedication and passion. During my tenure, I have managed and overseen numerous cybersecurity programs, implementing robust risk management frameworks and leading complex incident responses. This proactive approach has significantly reduced security incidents by 30%, demonstrating my ability to safeguard critical information and systems. One of my proudest achievements was spearheading the complete communications upgrade for the USS Mahan during a yard overhaul period. This project involved coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure the seamless installation, training, and testing of all communications gear, satellite equipment, crypto, and CANES systems. As a husband and father of two wonderful girls, I deeply understand the importance of balancing professional excellence with personal fulfillment. Beyond the challenges of the workplace, I find joy in spending quality time with my family, creating cherished memories, and supporting their dreams and aspirations. Throughout my Navy career, I've eagerly embraced every opportunity to learn and grow. Whether it's leading teams in high-pressure environments or navigating complex technical issues, I thrive on innovation, problem-solving, and exceeding expectations. Outside of work, I'm a dedicated fan of both the JETS and METS, though they often leave me feeling 'tortured'! I appreciate the power of sports to foster a sense of community and connection.
