About Pedro Ligeiro

Hi, I see myself as a multi multifaceted professional with experience in a wide range of projects, technologies and clients, national and international. I have performed the roles of technical developer, technical manager, team leader, scrum master, conference presentator, professor and salesman. I started my professional activity in November of 1998 developing a specification language called OBLOG. Two years after, from January 2001 until December 2003, I was integrated in a team that design and develop the Multichannel and Multi-Entity platform for a major Portuguese bank. From the beginning of 2004 until the end of 2006 I was the technical leader of the development of two credit recovery platforms for two Portuguese banks. In the first quarter of 2007 I was involved in the design of a proposal to redesign the Middleware system of the largest Portuguese bank. In the second quarter of 2007 I led the proposal to integrate several bank applications from a Portuguese bank to a a Spanish one, in an international competition, which we won. In the following two years and a half I was the technical responsible for the integration. In the second quarter of 2010 I went to the US for two migration projects (state of Pennsylvania and US Air Force). Since 2011 I am working for another major Portuguese bank proving reports to the Bank of Portugal, to the European Central Bank and Bank internal departments.
