About Pedro Lobo

Pedro started working as a web developer and entrepreneur in mid 2008 on a web based project that lasted a bit longer than two years and a half. After that Pedro embraced Business Intelligence as a new career. Pedro has started his BI adventure in November 2010 as a BI Analyst at Link Consulting. Soon after Pedro was promoted to a BI consultant position where he was involved in BI and Data Warehousing projects using mostly Oracle software. Being working in BI ever since, Pedro decided in begining of 2012 to enrich his career with an international experience having joined Peak Indicators Ltd where he currently works as a BI Architect. Business Intelligence experience. 10+ years of experience analyzing, designing and developing Business Intelligence solutions. Business requirements gathering and documenting. Data warehouse data modeling. ETL develoment (DAC, Informatica, OWB 10.2 and PL/SQL sp's). Experienced RPD developer. Development of reports/dashboards (OBIEE 10g, 11g and 12c). Development of published reporting (Publisher 10g, Publisher 11g). Devopment using OBIEE Mapviewer and MapBuilder using Oracle's SDO_GEOM. OBIEE 11g reports and dashboards / advanced OBIEE trainer. Experience in Linux (scripting, BAU, OBIEE installations). Development of Oracle Real Time Decisions solutions (RTD). Development of Java applications for data acquisition (Oracle Taleo)
