About Pedro Pinto

I graduated as a land surveyor engineer and I have over 20 years of national and international work experience on diverse civil engineering construction projects. My work experience includes major transport highways and bridges as well as the mining industry for several large multinational companies such as Mota-Engil S.A. and Vale S.A. in the countries of Portugal, Ireland, Brazil and Mozambique. I have knowledge and experience working with technologies in digital image processing, surveying, photogrammetry, cartography and digital terrain modeling. Currently, I am responsible for coordinating contracts of land surveyors crews, assisting survey crews in the performance of their assignments and ensure that survey crews conduct themselves in a professional, responsible manner at all times, in preparing estimations for time, personnel and equipment required to perform surveys, ensuring all data is accurate, complete, and downloaded on a daily basis for compilation. I have excellent managing knowledges also in the use and application of a variety of surveying methods and survey field equipment (electronic total stations, robotic total stations, electronic levels, GPS and Laser scanners I-Site 8800/8820 MAPTEK, DRONE OPERATOR TRIMBLE UX5) and 3D modeling software. I intend to ensure a culture of safety, promoting 5S and ensuring environmental compliance as part of all facets of my work. I assist in providing recommendations to improve the organization, work methods, equipment and technical specifications to improve productivity and control of costs.
