In my current role as a technical support specialist at Doran Scales, Inc, I provide technical support to customers, demonstrating expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with products. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams to test software releases and update support documentation. I have a deep understanding of networking, which is essential for integrating our products into diverse customer networks. Additionally, I have practical experience with Python, SQL, Wireshark, and Linux, which further enhances my technical skills. I graduated from DePaul University with a bachelor's degree in animation in 2014, where I developed my creativity and artistic abilities. My previous experience as a mail carrier with USPS instilled in me meticulous attention to detail, effective time management, and a keen understanding of security protocols. What captivates me about cybersecurity is delving into the intricacies of how malicious actors exploit vulnerabilities to commit cybercrimes. I am currently pursuing independent learning through platforms like TryHackMe, with a keen interest in penetration testing and exploring the application of machine learning/artificial intelligence to devise innovative approaches to system breaches.
