Chartered Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Engineer with over 23 years of experience across the petrochemical, energy, and industrial sectors. I’ve led a wide range of mechanical and piping projects—from stress analysis and pressure equipment assessments to fire protection systems and turnaround scopes. My background includes all stages of project delivery, from early planning and feasibility through to design, procurement, construction support, and closeout. Currently working as Mechanical and Project Manager for Greymouth Petroleum and previously more than 10 years as a secondee at Methanex, I’ve gained a strong understanding of how clients work and what matters to them—from safety and compliance to plant availability and long-term maintainability. This experience has been valuable in helping me deliver practical engineering solutions that align with operational needs, not just technical requirements. I believe this perspective is especially useful in a consulting environment, where being able to see things from the client’s side helps build trust, improve communication, and ensure smoother project outcomes.
