About Pedro Saghy

I advise, draft, negotiate and settle civil, commercial and international matters in different languages, industries and countries. I focus on solving legal problems to protect the practical and business needs of my clients by team working, anticipating and providing strategic, tailored and pragmatic advices. I have significant experience advising and coordinating the defence on a wide range of sensitive issues, including representing States and States entities in multi-jurisdictional, multi-lingual and multi-facetted processes. During the last 20 years, I have participated in significant disputes process in or concerning matters related to: Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Canada, USA, France, Portugal, Netherlands and many others. I have also been appointed as arbitrator several times, in Caracas and London. I frequently publish articles, books and chapters, gives lectures and participates in panels on international arbitration, contract law, and member of two ICC task Force on arbitration proceedings. He is also a founding member of the Venezuelan Chapter of the Association Henri Capitant and member of the Board of Directors of the Museum of African American Art in Caracas.
