About Peggy Logan

Peggy Logan is the distinguished teacher of the year for super marvelous, Sandy Run K-8. Ms. Logan was born and reared in White Plains, NY to the proud mother Carolyn Logan and later moved to Summerton, SC. She earned her high school diploma from Scott’s Branch High School, Summerton, SC. She was accepted into Claflin University, Orangeburg, SC where she majored in English and minored in theatre and became certified as secondary teacher in 1994. Peggy continued to participate in extracurricular activities as she did in high school as a Panther cheerleader. Interacting and motivating others would prove vital to her counseling career. Ms. Logan received her M. Ed in School Counseling in 2007 from South Carolina State University. She embarked in her new career at Guinyard Elementary and for the next two years she lived and loved the children in St. Matthews and the surrounding area. During the summer of 2009 she became career and college certified and transferred to Sandy Run K-8 where she can say she had the opportunity to live and love all of Calhoun County children. Most recently I became a certified CALOCUS evaluator for the state of South Carolina. This certification permits me to evaluate the mental health needs of children who need counseling from private and state agencies. Ms. Peggy Logan's spare time is spent with her two wonderful children, Jasmine, an alumni of Claflin,and Charvion, a sophomore at USC-Upstatel. She has been featured on ETV for her featured and published works in Poetry. These poems of inspirational pieces that range from purposeful living to perseverance in life. Peggy is a dynamic person and shares her love of life with others. Her life's motto is success comes only before work in the dictionary.
