About Peijia Wang

I am a 2024 new grad looking for software engineer and data scientist position. My biggest strength is creativity and being able to quickly learn new things.I graduated from the University of Washington and now I am a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University majoring in business intelligence and data analytics. Through my educational experience, I grew a huge interest in software development from the classroom and a desire to utilize the skills in real practice. My last 2 internship experiences in technology positions provide me with the opportunities to leverage the power of techniques to achieve business goals. I was introduced to many popular and advanced techniques, including gRPC, Redis, MERN stack, and Kafka. Using these techniques has improved the system performance of the application I built and gained a 2% increment in ROI. Now I am solution architect intern at AWS where I am responsible for developing a AWS question-answering chatbot.These experiences fascinated me and have strengthened my will of pursuing software development as my career. I am eager to refine my skills and cultivate my business sense by acquiring more work experience. I have a great passion for life and always yearn to learn something new and something different. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and trying great foods around the world. Exploring hidden gems in the city is my biggest interest.
