About Penelope Gabor

I energetically bring 15 years experience leading and implementing energy efficiency, outreach, demand response, transportation electrification and virtual power plant programs partnering with utilities in the West and Midwest regions including: Pacific Gas & Electric, California Energy Commission, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Redwood Coast Energy Authority, Puget Sound Energy, Seattle City Light, Xcel Energy, ComEd, Nicor Gas, Peoples and North Shore Gas, We Energies, Entergy and Cleco Power. I’ve led many teams, from 10-60 field and office staff, reaching ambitious goals, while making sure we can still laugh and have fun. In addition to supporting residential initiatives serving +100k homes, I’ve assisted a wide variety of small and large business customers ranging from independent restaurants and grocers to industrial facilities on energy management. My experience includes community planning and working directly with utility energy management and renewables, communications strategy, customer engagement, product marketing and outreach teams, and vendors and community groups. I have a record of building relationships to promote positive customer experiences and enhance my client’s image.
