About Penelope Haley

Hello, thanks for enquiring about my profile. I'm Penelope, Director of Valley Workshop. I started my working career as a teacher of secondary Mathematics and Physical Education. After a decade teaching, I re-trained. In 2013 I started Valley Workshop. I am director of an an innovative building and architectural business. What we are doing is really sustainable, really cutting edge and very rewarding. A bit more about the rest of us then; Our team is passionate about design and innovative building. We are a specialist practice creating architecturally designed prefabricated extensions and new homes. Our projects are high quality, flat packed and custom designed. Valley Workshop’s objective is to deliver intelligent building solutions that minimise impact on the environment. By combining our engineered building system with careful design we are able to deliver buildings with a higher sustainability outcome. Low Carbon, Low Impact, High Happiness. Having won the national Master Builders Association Award for energy efficiency and environment in 2018 and the 2019 Innovation award in the Tasmanian Timber Industry, and the 2019 HIA Greensmart Award for Sustainable Home, South Hobart build. I am really excited about the future of our growing company.
