About Penelope Merrick

This coming February I will have worked with Hawkfield Homes for six years. Starting my journey as Executive Assistant to the Board of Directors, where I gained an in-depth understanding of the business and construction while working with and supporting the senior management team. I was offered a new adventure (October 2019) within Land and Planning as an Assistant Project Manager, under the Founder of the Business only to be awarded Project Manager role eight months later. During Covid I starting to take a lead role on our new land sites (new blood) from pipeline deals to running projects teams of 10-12 people per site. Understand the strategy for development, concept design and land values, enabling us to negotiate, bid or present to stakeholders within a number of our land acquisitions. I have been working as a Land Manager since Nov 2021 and was officially promoted spring 2023. I am a highly proficient and conscientious individual looking at the opportunities and challenges within land reviews and planning applications for Hawkfield Homes. Having an adaptable approach to learning new procedures, self-motivated and enthusiastic about my work. I like to succeed in all tasks set and take pride in my work and appearance.
