About Penny Lima

Proud CVT, RVT with 25 years in the Veterinary field. I pride myself on having a wide knowledge base from years of experience. I have worked at both general and specialty practices including ER/ICU, Internal Medicine, and Surgery/Anesthesia departments. I am Fear Free Certified and Recover CPR Certified in Basic and Advanced life support. Proudly a member of #NOMV and #Veterinary professionals union.#ProudCVT My first and last love has always been anesthesia, and I am expanding my knowledge and sharpening my skills daily. I hope one day to help lead and educate ALL technicians in the field on becoming more comfortable and more knowledgeable in how to create multi-modal anesthesia and analgesia plans for both stable and compromised patients. I want all the technicians in our field to increase their knowledge of monitoring and fluid therapy for patients even if one does not work in a specialty setting. My special interests are using advanced multimodal anesthesia and analgesia individually tailored to the patients needs, correcting hypotension and fluid therapy during anesthesia and recognizing arrhythmias during anesthesia.
