About Per Ferrington

I love to create structure from chaos. My heart and soul will always be within production; aimed towards the design for manufacturing. I do take a very practical approach in my work, a legacy from the small family business that raised me as an engineer, and gave me a business mind set, with a sense of urgency, while maintaining good efficiency. I possess a good technical imagination capability and I love to learn new things. I love problem solving, the work within the Swedish Armed forces gave me the logical approach to root cause analyse combined with teaching. Everyone that knows me recognise my “thinking” at the whiteboard with the pen in my hand! I am at my best when translating information from the technical experts into whiteboard sketches, which makes both software and hardware engineers understand the issue at hand. As a member in the System Team in Sony Mobile platforms and phone projects, I found the perfect fit to combine all my experience in working with the newest technology, to secure that it was ready for testing and verification and well suited for production.
