About Per Liljekvist

I have extensive experience in IT in roles such as system developer, development manager, business analyst, requirements analyst and project manager in projects of various sizes and scope in both small start-ups and large international groups, always with the goal of developing and create value. In my work, data has always played a central role as well as product as a basis for the problem solving that has always been a natural part of my work, regardless of the role I have had. I am also passionate about democratizing data via making it available and building knowledge about how to add value with the help of data. I have developed, designed and been the driving force in realizing several data-driven solutions to streamline existing processes and to add business value. I have also with good results driven the work to improve and streamline the work with software development at Sweden's largest company within Market research. Within the same industry, I have also, among other things, led the work with, designed and been involved in developing business-critical system support for technical measurements of digital media for some of Sweden's largest media customers. In recent years, I have also worked at a market-leading fintech product company that develops services for automated and digitized handling of business documents, which has deepened my knowledge of business flows, business documents and financial systems. In this context, I have created value by clarifying customer needs through analysis, identification and refinement of requirements. Banking, finance and technical market research are areas and industries I feel particularly at home in. In addition to my work, for many years I have had a great involvement in the sports movement. I instruct in Thai boxing at Sweden's largest martial arts club (Fightercentre IF) and over the years I have managed to instruct everything from beginners to elite practitioners. I also sit on the board of the association. This commitment is rooted in both a love for the sport itself, and the chance it gives me to be a constructive role model for sporting young people of different ages and who often come from very different backgrounds. As I see it, sport has an important role to play in terms of integration and this is also something we see as a matter of course to actively work with in the association. As a person, I am social and outgoing. I also like to spend time alone in nature, where I prefer fishing, bird watching, snorkeling and photography. Nature has had a place in my life since early childhood.
