About Perjit Aujla

A versatile Executive Producer and former Head of Development making and developing primetime factual content across a range of genres. The companies I have worked with include Optomen, Emporium, Full Fat TV, Spun Gold, Maverick TV, Love Productions and Outline. Experienced working with talent, scripting complex stories and managing large teams to deliver primetime series, as well as shaping shows in the edit. I'm confident working across a diverse range of genres including children’s, consumer, travelogue and competition. In 2025 I was selected to be TV Collective Breakthrough Leader, in 2019 I was part of the Screenskills Series Producer scheme and the same year I won Best Craft at the RTS Midlands Awards for The Great British Menu. In 2017 I was chosen for TRC Media's Big Ideas for Returning Series training. I am passionate about supporting and promoting diverse off-screen talent and have mentored via. Creative Access and Channel 4 and deliver development training via. industry body Screenskills. As a member of the RTS Midlands board, I’ve produced and chaired online events for them and WFTV. I've also been on judging panels for Broadcast, Bafta & the RTS. My commissioned projects include: Shipmates (Channel 4, 5x60), Joe Wicks: Body Coach (Channel 4, 3x60), Tony Robinson's Coast to Coast (Channel 5, 6x60), Weighing up the Enemy (Channel 4, 4x60), Britain’s Killer Storms (Channel 4, 1x60), Fat Family Tree (Channel 4, 1x60).
