About Perri Tuttle

I have had a lot of experience teaching in schools through my placements at Victoria University. During these placements I was able to be apart of a growth school, this allowed me to see children's educational achievements over a period of time. I was also able to work with children one on one and work with children who's english was a second language. However my main experience has come from being a coordinator for over 3 years. I started coordinating at Essendon North then moved to St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Ascot Vale. One main skill i have learnt is adaptability. This was evident when running school holiday programs, sometimes the incursions that were booked didn't show up therefore I had to re do the activities. In this Job I wouldn't have been able to develop the strong relationships with the parents or principals without strong communication skills. I also learnt how to be a leader, running a team can be a hard task however without building the trust and understanding how the team works was the key to being a successful leader.
