About Perry Devlin

Focussed and motivated Mental Health Nurse and Psychotherapist working within a Talking Therapies Service. I have comprehensive experience working as part of a specialised team supporting military veterans with complex mental health needs. I am currently working in both the public and private sectors, and pride myself in offering a holistic approach from a biopsychosociospiritual perspective. I have achieved a 1:1 BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing and am registered with the NMC, and a PGDip in High Intensity CBT which will enable me to further develop my skills and am accredited with the BABCP. I have completed part 3 training in EMDR. I have a MSc in Global Military Veteran and Families Studies at Anglia Ruskin University. Most recently I have successfully completed Part 1 Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with The University of Cardiff and Part 1 Schema Therapy with ISST. I have a strong interest in Moral Injury and the impact this has in relation to PTSD and recovery. I have spoken at an International Conference on Moral Injury which took place in February 2021. I have also been busy as a volunteer befriender for military veterans, volunteer vaccinator for covid 19 and assisted in a research project looking at Moral Injury in Healthcare Workers, which has been published.
