About Perry Gibbs

Perry Gibbs is a well-rounded real estate professional who specializes in federally owned and leased spaces. Perry earned his bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master’s in Business Administration from Shorter College, as well as various industry designations and certifications including RPA and LEED AP. With fifteen years of experience in the real estate industry, Perry has worked directly in the fields of construction, property management, and property disposal. On weekends he may be found wearing a fez and driving a small car in parades anywhere in Georgia, raising awareness for the twenty-two international Shriners Hospitals for Children. He holds a membership with Shriners International, a fraternal organization, and serves various leadership roles locally (Yaarab Shrine) for membership and fundraising. In 2004, Perry began his career in real estate with Bovis Lend Lease on the new construction of a SF facility in Gainesville, GA. He transitioned to the public sector in 2005 with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), performing repair and alteration projects in Atlanta, GA. Two years later Perry began rotations through GSA’s various business lines. In 2009 Perry shifted to property management, overseeing operations at the MLK Federal Building (GSA’s Region 4 Headquarters), the Rome Courthouse, the Elbert P. Tuttle Courthouse, the John Godbold Building, and others; and in 2010 received the Most Valuable Associate award from GSA’s Regional Administrator. In 2013 Perry began working with GSA’s Real Property Utilization and Disposal. While working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) Homeowners Assistance Program (HAP), he was able to enhance the program to produce $1.6 million in proceeds for the client agency in five months, as well as generate $105,201 in savings. Through this effort, Perry and his team received the 2016 National PBS Project Management Award.
