Graduate - East Pennsboro Area High School - 1976 Studies in Architectural Drawing/Design and Mechanical Engineering – Harrisburg Area Community College – 1976/1977 2 years study in Engineering/Surveying – University of Pittsburgh at Titusville – 1977/1979 PLS Registration Pennsylvania – 2004 (#SU053114) 30 years of experience in civil engineering & surveying I have been in the engineering field since 1981. I have worked on numerous roadway projects in different capacities from the cross sections to the quantities and from planning projects to collecting the data and producing the plans and specifications. I have done numerous ALTA surveys as well as boundary and subdivision plans. I have prepared the proposals for projects from simple boundary to survey support for roadway and bridge reconstruction projects. I have been responsible for surveys for private individuals, check surveys for quantities, precision movement surveys for the PA Turnpike, preparation of numerous topo plans, elevation certificates, as well as numerous right-of-way plans for construction. I have evolved in the civil engineering and surveying industry from the hands on approach, I have performed the duties in the field from rodman to instrument and party chief. I have performed the office duties from engineering/survey technician (reducing/plotting everything and anything from the field), to the surveyor responsible for Penn DOT right-of-way plans for construction. As part of this evolving I have seen the introduction of the cadd, faxes and scanners. I have seen the emergence of GPS and robotic equipment as well as GIS. In my past responsibilities I have not ask anyone to perform any duties that I have not done myself and exposed those to that fact. I will perform the duties necessary to accomplish the task and I expect the same form the people I work around and with.
