About Pete Bunch

As a young CPA, I learned that understanding the relationships among financial accounts and a few thoughtfully selected operational metrics was a synergistic recipe for infusing ordinary “data” with such contextual relevance and clarity that it rose to the level of “information” – perhaps even “knowledge” - capable of concisely explaining historical performance, predicting future outcomes, and influencing strategic direction. My interest in information delivery thus ignited, I served in several functional project leadership roles to deliver better financial systems, a path culminating in a full time career in technology consulting where I have had the good fortune to assist organizations throughout the country navigate their way through complex IT projects and related transformational changes. Transformational projects are intrusive and disruptive. Probably through years of dogged perseverance, I am an excellent collaborator, communicator, facilitator, and consensus builder. My project experience includes a diverse constituency of senior leadership, physicians, faculty, and other health, financial, technology, and operational professionals. My project subject areas have encompassed BI, financial, HR, supply chain, and healthcare solutions in which I have often been involved in the strategic alignment and risk/opportunity assessments which typically precede project organization and am frequently tasked with articulating and championing a solution vision. More squarely within the project lifecycle domain, I am highly involved in solution architecture, and am typically accountable for delivering a project execution strategy, the WBS and related project plan, resource requirements, other inception and planning-phase deliverables, team selection and management, stakeholder communication, and risk assessment/mitigation. I have worked with a variety of methodologies including the PMI’s PMBOK framework, and am experienced in typical project governance processes.
