I officially retired March 27, 2022 but retained my license because I still have a few projects under construction. I am enjoying my retirement but will accept jobs from previous clents who have a record of paying their invoices. The rest of you can find a new Architect. When I closed the website, my email address went with it. Call 517-290-6780 if you need your files. I will be on the beach or napping or riding my motorcycle if the roads are dry, regardless of the temperature. I am just a few months away from reaching “full retirement age” and now that my health is back to 100%, I am considering taking a part time job. Possibly even factory work as long as it doesn’t take a job that somebody else needs. I will show up on time, sober and prepared to work. For now, I am team teaching 30 homeschoolers intro to the trades and life skills with Route in Holland. We build stuff, learn handyman skills, help on a Habitat house, eat a lot of pizza and have fascinating field trips to sponsers shops. Trades are a great option for students because everybody my age is retired or dead and there are plenty of good paying jobs (no student loans). Now serving the Lakeshore (Muskegon, Grand Haven, Holland) and mid-Michigan. We promised to operate honestly, fairly and truthfully, show up prepared and on time and to continually learn. I regularly visit jobsites to talk with tradesmen and participate in hands-on projects at home and abroad.
