Left secondary education, worked at Bristol Royal Infirmary as a Auxiliary nurse/Plaster technician, working in casualty, orthopaedic clnic and theatres Joined Army in 87, basic training, then studied electonics (Radar) before being sent out to Germany, front line tech with 11 Battery, 22 Air defence located in Dortmund.Tour with UN in Cyprus in '99, On return worked in 2nd line on Camera group. Dodged first Gulf war (just) left in '93 eventually ended up at Hewlett Packard as temp performing surface mount soldering and debug before being full time employed in 97, worked on DAT drives mainly outsourcing to Scotland, then moved onto LTO. Trained in HP, Boise Idaho, brought back skills and helped set up debug/production before outsourcing to Flextronics, Zalegazeg, Hungary. Now returned to DAT drives and outsourced last two HP DAT drives produced by HP to Mitsumi in the Philippines, no more outsourcing left, so I left and ended up at Horstmann working on Transducers for CEWE (go look it up) here we are.
