I created vibrant writing partnership Word Ninjas with Ruth Estelle in 2013. We are a writing and content-creating team adept at juggling multiple projects at once. We sell our original content to market and work with clients on their projects to make them better. We’re still going strong in 2024. This year we again hit maximum output for clients, with a docu-series on the housing crisis in development and a clutch of market-ready mini bibles created. I also work with Spectrum Writing as a mentor for autistic writers keen to write shorts, features, and stories. Word Ninja script editing work continues to pay off for our clients, both emerging and experienced. TV movie 'Suka'(Wise Goat Productions) is on Prime Video, and web series 'Behind the Seams'(written by Ruth) is a Facebook/YouTube hit. Feature film 'My Eyes' completed production this year. Word Ninjas' originals are being considered by networks and streamers on a regular basis, and 2024 is another good year. Word Ninjas has network interest in an historical detective drama, and two of our original television dramas have been optioned and entered in SPA's Pitch on Demand. In the animation world, the work we are doing with Karu Karu's 'Wishes' has been rewarded.'Wishes' was chosen for the prestigious Annecy-MIFA in France, and the pilot ep will premiere at this year's Adelaide Film Festival. A large part of this year has been spent in funded (Screen Australia/SAFC) development of our ground-breaking musical dramedy 'Sharehouse'. With Bible, songs, and pilot script written, we will be taking 'Sharehouse' and other projects on our slate to TV market Content London, in Dec 2024. Word Ninjas. We'll help you make it better.
