I spent 30 plus years in Supply Chain Management. I loved it. But in 2008, My Company was sold to another company out of Michigan. After I moved our distribution network into the new company's distribution network, I was restationed to the manufacturing facility. I was offered a DC in Michigan, but my Family and my Life were in Florida. My Wife suggested that I turn my Hobby into a full time business, so I did. After 10 years of working for myself, my Hobby is no longer enjoyable. It hasn't been for a few years. However, I always enjoyed Supply Chain and the feeling of "Team" it had. I would like to get back into it. There's nothing more satisfying than a Team of people working together to move truckloads of product out the door, day after day. The feeling of accomplishment is immediate and satisfying.
