Especially ones that motivate people and make them think,"I’m glad I spent time reading/watching some or all of that.” I went for that same reaction working on digital and direct response projects for Citibank and Sears while freelancing at Havas Chicago, and The Home Depot for The Ryan Partnership. I’ve had good assignments from great clients while at agencies in Minneapolis (Bozell, BBDO), Michigan (Lawler Ballard, Bozell) and Chicago (Hal Riney, FCB, DDB, Rhea + Kaiser). My Jeep spot, “Snow Covered” won the Grand Prix at Cannes, and was named one of the 100 best TV commercials of all time. TV Guide named it one of the 50 best. I’m also proud of work I’ve done for Kinko’s, State Farm, Caterpillar, Kraft, Quaker, Anheuser Busch, Bayer CropScience and Pfizer. Several of my ads and campaigns have been honored by the One Show, Communication Arts and Clio.
