I am a dynamic public health physician and health systems strategist with proven expertise in strengthening health systems (HSS), global health security (GHS), and quality improvement (QI). I have extensive experience designing resilient health systems for long-term development and leading agile interventions in complex humanitarian emergencies. My work focuses on leveraging data-driven solutions to bridge the gap between strategic policy and effective field-level implementation. I am knowledgeable in areas such as disease surveillance & epidemiology, international health regulations (IHR), antimicrobial resistance (AMR), quality improvement (QI) processes, models and frameworks, public health strategies and policies, digital health, HIV and TB programme management, vaccination strategies, stakeholder engagement and project management. As a prospective public health leader, I can engage stakeholders and lead projects, enabling me to implement effective health initiatives. Additionally, my strategic thinking and project management skills help me to advance efforts to strengthen health systems. With a detail-oriented and innovative approach, I develop solutions that enhance healthcare quality and strengthen community resilience. • – Provided technical assistance and training of 308 Disease Surveillance and Notification Officers (DSNOs) and over 22,600 surveillance focal persons across 14 states on IDSR, significantly improving data quality. • () – Provided technical assistance for the review and development of Nigeria's National Action Plan for Health Security (NAPHS) and co-led subnational IHR security assessments, shaping the country's 5-year health resilience roadmap. • - & – Spearheaded a COVID-19 vaccination strategy at the subnational level that achieved an 81.3% vaccination rate in Akwa Ibom and increased coverage in Taraba by 52% in just 9 days. • – Integrated HIV PrEP & cervical‑cancer screening into HIV/FP programmes, achieving 100 % of annual targets within six months. • & – Contributed to multiple national health frameworks, plans and guidelines, such as the National Community-Based Surveillance Plan, Mpox Research & Policy Framework, and Diphtheria Surveillance Guidelines, etc.
