In the 6 years,that I've spent studying multi-sensory integration of sensory information for postural control in healthy and patient populations, I've not only had the opportunity to investigate novel theories behind the control mechanism employed by the central nervous system; but I've also been able to pull from my technical expertise, to conceive of and develop technologies that have allowed our lab to implement our findings in real world settings. I hope to build a professional career based on connecting a diverse range of viable research tools from my research into emerging patient markets.
