About Peter Ahnesorg

Bringing science to patients is what gets me out of bed every day! I am passionate about leading teams and organisations that aspire to take this to the next level, as we reap the benefits but also experience the challenges of the biotech revolution. Healthcare today is more complex, regulated, volatile and at the same time productive than ever before. A biochemist by training, I have extensive experience in the life science industry including executive leadership and management roles in sales and marketing, global strategy and R&D. Along my journey I was able to work in Europe, as well as in the United States launching numerous novel drugs in different disease areas. Currently I am leading the Hematology Franchise at Roche, covering ~20 on-market and in-development medicines across both malignant and non-malignant Hematology. I am excited not only about novel modalities, such as Cell and Gene Therapy, but also ways to increase efficiencies in healthcare delivery such as fixed duration therapies. And most of all, I am excited about the people I get to work with.
