About Peter Appiahene

Member of the Governing Council of University of Energy and Natural Resources, Assistant Professor with over 10 years working experience in the Computer Science Industry and Academic Institutions both Domestic and International. Team player with excellent administrative skills and effective leadership style that promote a simulating working environment. Excel in dynamic demanding environment while remaining pragmatic and focused with the ability to successfully work to tight schedules and deadlines. As a professional teacher, I also have the ability to teach and develop others to achieve their full potentials. I have a PhD in Computer Science with specialization in Reinforcement Learning and Machine Learning. I am Reviewer for International refereed journals including Journal of Supercomputing and conferences with a number of publications in International journals and conference proceedings. I wish to further my research knowledge and experience in the application of Machine Learning in biological and clinical studies to improve the diagnosis of endometrial cancer. I am currently a faculty member of the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Ghana.
