About Peter Arnold

I have spent 25+ years as a banking and asset management professional in senior leadership roles across business developement, sales, marketing and capital raising. During my career, I have worked across all major traditional and alternative asset classes, with a very broad spectrum of institutional, intermediary and UHNWI clients. Currently leading a Mid-Market European specialist private debt platform LBPAM - European Private Markets. We have been investing in European private debt for 13 years across corporate, RE and Infra debt. We have invested over €8Bln in that time. An early adopter of sustainability and impact investing, we incorporate market leading tools through out our investment process and across our portfolios. We are supported with long term patient capital by our group LBP. In my previous role at Schroders Capital, I helped drive significant uplift in AUM as global head of Private asset sales and broadened coverage from a U.K. and DACH region, creating a sales function with genuine global capabilities. Previously, I was head of international fund distribution at Citigroup where I set up a private placement capability for the GP’s, concentrating on Private debt, Infrastructure and RE specialist managers. I am deeply involved in strategic leadership and I currently sit on management committees that have given me exposure to other product areas, asset classes and geographies. Additionally, I am hugely focused on diversity, and at Schroders, I have helped create a much better gender balance in the private asset sales team in Asia and Europe. With experience in establishing new desks and initiatives, I understand the importance of Leadership in accomplishing both my own and my employer’s objectives. My personal success is underpinned by my ability to foster a collaborative culture, developing individuals into cohesive teams that work across functions and enable successful cross- Selling.
